A Mid Summers Dream - Honouring all that we are, as we are.

The Summer Solstice or Mid-Summer is a potent time of high energy where the blessings of the sun are at their peak.  We are children of the sun, our ancestors honoured and worshipped the sun by celebrating in community.  This is peak growth season, where the energy and support of the sun and Mother Earth invites you to share and honour yourself and your gifts within community.

It’s a time for celebration and offerings; for the nature beings, Mother Earth and Father Sun and this wonderous gift of life.  Infused with this peak sun energy, we invite you to come and move, play, sing and rest with us here on the stunning Tresillian Estate near Newquay.  We offer a space where all of you is welcome - exactly as you are.

Your guides, Tracey & Steve will guide you through a weekend of deep nervous system regulation with strong & therapeutic practices including dynamic and gentle yoga, deep supported restorative yoga and Yoga NIdra, meditation, pranayama, nature connection, rituals, songs and offerings for Mother Earth, sea swims and more.

All served in the lap of luxury on the Tresilian Estate on the North Cornish coast near Newquay.

Rooted and Rested, We Rise - A nurturing day of dynamic movement, meditation, restorative yoga & mantra

To navigate these times we are in with any semblance of grace, we need strong resilient roots to hold us steady as the world spirals all around us. With so much to hijack our nervous systems and our awareness, returning to the body and the present moment is non-negotiable if we are to stay sane and well.

Yoga strengthens the physical and energetic body, conditioning our muscles and bones, upgrading our cells and guiding us to breathe more fully into life, whatever is unfolding. It shows us how to find solace in the body and the present moment where our fears, programming and worries about the world no longer dictate. Building strength and trust in ourselves, in community, in Mother Earth and the divinity that holds us all and makes us more unshakable when life and landscape shifts unexpectedly around us.

Rest is an equally important part of our self care. Rested we are ready for the world and not held hostage by it. Rested we are able to show up in the world in our fullness. Rested we are more forgiving (to ourselves and others), and less reactionary to the things that are out of our control.

The most potent and nurturing form of rest is restorative yoga. By supporting the body with Shanti Sundays bolsters and blankets, restorative yoga helps to restore optimum function to the nervous system. By aligning the body in such a supportive way, the body can breathe more fully and when deeply rested, we are able to access the infinite wellspring of peace and spaciousness that lies within. It is a deeply therapeutic and beautiful practice.

Yoga

Tracey is an intuitive, warm and supportive teacher who thrives on helping people realise their potential on and off the mat. Morning sessions will be dynamic and nourishing with strong alignment principles, focusing on building core strength from deep within. Classes can be challenging but are always held with love and humour.

The afternoon sessions are more therapeutic and restorative in nature (supported by gorgeous Shanti Sundays props) and incorporate hands on healing (if welcomed) scent and sound.

IMG_3774.jpg

Shamanism

Tracey practices shamanism and incorporates these teachings throughout the weekend with beautiful rituals for ourselves and the Earth and a celebratory closing fire ceremony. Fire ceremonies are powerful healing rituals celebrated in Indigenous cultures across the world. Using sticks (one for letting go and one for calling in), we will release all that no longer serves us to the fire before calling in what we want to manifest for this next cycle of life, for ourselves and the world.

IMG_3780.jpg

The Autumn Equinox

The Autumn Equinox or Mabon as it is known in Celtic traditions, is when we celebrate the equilibrium of day and night, the balance of masculine and feminine energies within and without. The theme around of the Autumn Equinox is one of gratitude and sharing as we offer thanks to the Earth ,and the life forces that sustain us and celebrate the second harvest of the year. We also begin reflecting on how hopes and intentions set at the start of the year have manifested and get clear on what we need to shed or complete before planting seeds of intention for the following Spring. It’s a beautiful time of year to gather and feast on the fruits of harvest and share songs and stories around the fire.
