We are the Women - An Autumn Equinox Gathering for women

  • Tresillian Estate TR8 4PS (map)

“There is no I, there’s only We.”

Join Tracey and sisters Fay Rosamond (dance, Cacao, gong & music), Lucinda Mahoney (bodywork) and Charlotte Haigh (Priestess, Soul midwife, writer) for a deeply nurturing and soulful gathering in the lap of luxury on the Tresillian Estate in Cornwall. We welcome all parts of you to nest, rest and release all you’re been carrying so you can renew and remember your belong here, in your body, in circle with women, on the body of Her, our beloved Mother Earth.

This blissful 4 day retreat invites us to deepen our connection to ourselves, each other & beautiful nature with dynamic and restorative yoga, dance, song, sound bath, pilgrimage, earth based rituals and ceremony.

Your Faciltators

Tracey

Tracey has been practicing yoga and meditation for 20 years and teaching for almost 10. She also teaches Pilates but her deep love (and gift) is the deeply healing practice of restorative yoga which has been the anchor of her life and business for over 15 years.

Tracey is Trauma informed and trained in the energetic healing practices of Reiki, Andean mysticism and shamanism and has a deep love and reverence for Mother Earth and all our human and non human kin.

Tracey holds a safe and nurturing space and teaches with intuition, encouragement, care, passion and humour.

Fay

Fay is a trained dancer, yoga teacher, musician and sound healer who carries scared medicine songs from around the world and facilitates ceremonies with the heart opening plant spirit cacao.

Fay will be sharing her beautiful gifts and holding us in sacred space with the medicines of cacao, movement, gong and sacred songs from around the world.

The Venue

Set in 22 acres of stunning gardens, Tresillian Estate is an 8 bedroom Georgian Manor house and 6 bedroom barn located near some of North Cornwall’s best beaches. The venue can accommodate 30 people but in order to give everyone their own space there will be a cap of 16 guests on the retreat. Most of the rooms will be allocated as single occupancy with 2 ensuite twins and 2 family rooms suitable for friends who are coming together. The houses and studio are all stunning and spacious allowing everyone plenty of space to expand and spread their wings.

The Land and local area

Located near Newquay and some of the most beautiful beaches in the country, the estate is situated in 22 acres of stunning grounds housing a lake, tennis courts and a Victorian walled garden growing fruit and vegetables for the house. Watergate bay and the beautiful beaches of Crantock and Watergate bay are all only 6 miles away with temperatures, all perfect for a cleansing dip in the sea.

Yoga, Rest & Ritual

Tracey is an intuitive, warm and supportive teacher who thrives on helping people realise their potential on and off the mat. Morning sessions are dynamic and fun, combining yoga, Pilates and other modalities to help strengthen and release energetic and physical blocks.. Classes can be challenging but are always held with love and humour.

The afternoon sessions are therapeutic and restorative in nature (supported by gorgeous Shanti Sundays props) and incorporate some hands on healing (if welcomed), scent, sound, breath work and Yoga Nidra with Steve.

Shamanism

We’ll create beautiful rituals for ourselves and Mother Earth throughout the weekend, including a group despacho (a living prayer from the Andean tradition) and a closing fire ceremony. Fire is an incredible ally that has the power to cleanse and alchemise all that isn’t in resonance with our true nature into the golden seeds of new potential.

The Autumn Equinox

The Autumn Equinox or Mabon as it is known in Celtic traditions, is when we celebrate the equilibrium of day and night, the balance of masculine and feminine energies within and without. The theme around of the Autumn Equinox is one of gratitude and sharing as we offer thanks to the Earth ,and the life forces that sustain us and celebrate the second harvest of the year. We also begin reflecting on how hopes and intentions set at the start of the year have manifested and get clear on what we need to shed or complete before planting seeds of intention for the remainder of the year. It’s a beautiful time of year to gather and feast on the fruits of harvest and share songs and stories around the fire.
