Harvest of the Heart - An Autumn Equinox retreat for women

Harvest of the Heart

Join me for a very special 4 day Autumn retreat for women, on the stunning Tresilian Estate in the heart of Cornwall. This popular annual gathering offers complete respite from the demands of daily life, inviting you to reconnect with all that you are and remember the joy and power that is present when women come together.

This blissful 4 day retreat invites us to deepen our connection to ourselves, each other & our beloved Mother Earth with dynamic and restorative yoga, Pilates, earth based shamanic rituals & a closing fire ceremony. Our wonderful chef & house host Jonny will cook up delicious, seasonal healthy fare from the garden to nourish our senses, cells and soul.

The Venue

Set in 22 acres of stunning gardens, Tresillian Estate is an 8 bedroom Georgian Manor house and 6 bedroom barn located near some of North Cornwall’s best beaches. The venue can accommodate 30 people but in order to give everyone their own space there will be a cap of 16 guests on the retreat. Most of the rooms will be allocated as single occupancy with 2 ensuite twins and 2 family rooms suitable for friends who are coming together. The houses and studio are all stunning and spacious allowing everyone plenty of expand , breathe and spread their wings.

The Land and local area

Located near Newquay and some of the most beautiful beaches in the country, the estate is situated in 22 acres of stunning grounds housing a lake, tennis courts and a Victorian walled garden growing fruit and vegetables for the house. Watergate bay and the beautiful beaches of Crantock and Watergate bay are all only 6 miles away with temperatures, all perfect for a cleansing dip in the sea.

Yoga & Pilates

Tracey is an intuitive, warm and supportive teacher who thrives on helping people realise their potential on and off the mat. Morning sessions are dynamic and fun, combining Pilates and other modalities to strengthen and compliment strong yoga asana. Classes can be challenging but are always held with love and humour.

The afternoon sessions are therapeutic and restorative in nature (supported by gorgeous Shanti Sundays props) and incorporate hands on healing (if welcomed), scent and sound.

Shamanism

Tracey practices shamanism and incorporates these teachings throughout the weekend with beautiful rituals for ourselves and the Earth and a celebratory closing fire ceremony. Fire ceremonies are powerful healing rituals celebrated in Indigenous cultures across the world. Using sticks (one for letting go and one for calling in), we will release all that no longer serves us to the fire before calling in what we want to manifest for this next cycle of life, for ourselves and the world.

The Autumn Equinox

The Autumn Equinox or Mabon as it is known in Celtic traditions, is when we celebrate the equilibrium of day and night, the balance of masculine and feminine energies within and without. The theme around of the Autumn Equinox is one of gratitude and sharing as we offer thanks to the Earth ,and the life forces that sustain us and celebrate the second harvest of the year. We also begin reflecting on how hopes and intentions set at the start of the year have manifested and get clear on what we need to shed or complete before planting seeds of intention for the remainder of the year. It’s a beautiful time of year to gather and feast on the fruits of harvest and share songs and stories around the fire.
