Circling, Sharing - The Joy of Retreats

Tracy had a beautiful and nurturing way of bringing us back to our bodies and stillness. What I loved about Tracey’s yoga was how simple yet strong her practice is. It’s pure yoga - without the fad of noise and nonsense!

I came away feeling like I’d slowed down, quieted my mind and come back to the deep transformation of rest.

Through song, dance and creation, Tracey held beautiful rituals to honour our selves, our time and a shared experience.

Just wanted to say thank you so much for holding such a beautiful retreat. I absolutely loved the way it flowed So magically working with the sound and journeying with the elements, great collaboration with you and Joseph. Kindred spirits indeed. Fiona

Our first retreat with Tracey, Shanti Sundays was in 2021. It was so relaxing that 4 days was just not long enough. So for 2022 we booked the 2 back to back retreats. The location of Tresilian House is unique with the hosts Jonny and Allan preparing the nicest healthy meals straight from the “walled garden” to the plate. The dynamic of the group is really comfortable, Tracey creates an environment in which you feel safe to share and learn. The yoga sessions are inclusive and all levels are catered for you feel heard, supported and sometimes adjusted and realigned.
This 2nd retreat included sound and it offered a totally new perspective , the workshop really brought an alternative insight for me. All of this yoga/Pilates movement combined with fire , spiritual and environmental exploration, and the odd sea swim thrown in, left me rejuvenated and restored. I will be back next year! This is now a fixture in my annual calendar a must do.

A little pocket of bliss

I discovered Tracey at Shanti Sundays through her amazingly beautiful yoga products so when she emailed to tell me about a retreat she’d be running I was curious.
I was also a tad nervous as I’m not the stereotypical yoga / Pilates type. I’m a 6ft bodybuilder who hates dieting and has broken or snapped most bones and tendons, ligaments and major muscles in my body due to contact sports.
So it was with some trepidation I joined Tracey’s women’s retreat last year, this, normally being the stuff of nightmares for me.

HOWEVER! Wow! Wow! Wow! Tracey being Tracey attracts such a wonderfully kind, inclusive and diverse group of humans that my worries and nerves were quickly forgotten and I had THE BEST long weekend of my life. So much so, this year I went back and did both of the retreats she ran back to back.

I literally cannot wait to get back to the gorgeous Tresillion House where the amazing Jonny whips up such heathy fantastical feasts three times a day.
If you are on the fence about going for whatever reason: you're not bendy enough, you're not good in large groups, you’re an introvert, you're overweight, body concious etc etc. let me tell you now: DO IT!!

This year you would have found this 6ft ex rugby playing body builder dancing around the orchard with her headphones on singing at the top of her voice without a care in the world. Thats how freeing Traceys retreats are! If I can manage them, you can too!
